Inconel valves are typically used for high heat applications- so think the exhaust side of a turbo setup...

ok i have a turbo so this means a lot to me.... also since we are on the topic...it is a good thing to get the ferrea gun drilled valves...or better to stay with a stainless or iconel for a street star that wont hit super high rpms that much. Do I really need these, or they even worth the extra money.

How much power are you going for and with what displacement engine?
In my other car, which is a 370" iron block Gen 3 engine...with some EXTREMELY high power goals from the turbo setup, I'm running a stainless intake valve and an inconel exhaust valve.

...well...if you're going for that kind of power, you WILL need a built engine below the heads...if you want to do the heads now and the bottom end later, don't cheap out now.

Inconel metal is best best alloy for high heat, also very expensive compared to stainless steel. If you are running high octane or racing fuel that burings bery hot you can benefit from inconel. You wont make any horsepower with inconel valves
