Thinking we're going to build this car.
One of my customers gave me a 86 IROC, and I came across this rendering which kind of intrigued me, so I think we're going to give it a go.
What do you think? |

Personally, I don't care for the 5th gen nose on the front of a 3rd gen. I'm very fond of the 3rd gen nose. Now I do like the way ground effects are integrated into the sides of the car and not looking like a bolt on piece. That and the slammed look.

I think that would be kind of cool, as long as you don't put cartoon wheels on it
you will have to make a bumper support from scratch though... Insane amount of fabrication in the front end. |

Don't really like it myself but I've certainly seen far worse things done to a 3rd gen.

We're still very much up in the air whether or not we want to invest the time into this project. The car was given to us so it doesn't owe us anything and we really hadn't planned on keeping it once it was done. In the end we may just put a nice paint job on it and call it a day.

My opinions don't often agree with those of the masses in general, but you asked for our opinions so I'm obliging. If you offered to give me one modded as in the pictures or a stock version with new paint in great shape, I'd take the stock one.
I do however believe you could sell the modded one for a lot more money to somebody else! |
