I get allot of "Nice car" or a thumbs up.

I see folks checking it out when i'm on the road also, I was used to that from driving my 96 Impala SS.

A few folks will ask questions, I don't mind, one guy that works in the same building I do, had already gone online and researched the name of the paint color and the options, then asked a few questions when he saw me geting out of the car one day.

People always ask me what color it is. I tell them Carbon Flash Metallic, they stare for a second and then ask what color is that...

Skip the "carbon flash metallic" and just tell them Dark Gray. Problem solved.

Everytime I hear the V6 - V8 crap going on, I cannot help but this of this great part from Boiler Room. Read between the lines and you'll understand.

If you didn't get an LS3, its because you chose not to. Who cares about other people and their "expectations" of what you shoulda bought.

I'm not a fan of these witty remarks to the v6 or v8 question. It just makes it sound like you're tired of disappointing everyone when they do ask. IMO just say its a V6 and be proud of it, it really is a great car. If they don't wanna see it, does it really matter?

Love your car! Haters gonna hate...

Yeah, I was expecting my wife to have to drive it from time to time is why I got the L99. Turns out, she's only driven it about 4 times. She's got a waaaaay nicer BMW 7-Series. The V6/V8 thing is stupid. I got luv for all Camaro's. From stock to donk, and everything in between.

I just fishtailed hard getting onto the main street up here and I pulled up to the light and the guy next to me asked if I had the 6 speed, I said hell yeah! And he said yeah, that's the only way to go!
I like my automatic V6 accord tho, for when it's shitty out or I don't feel like driving something manly...

I'm with gunny on this! I don't get the hate for V6's that thing is a great engine. If you just have to have more power there are v6's that are pushing out tons of horsepower with turbos and superchargers!

I think sometimes people forget that there is always something bigger better and fast out there. Enjoy your kick @$$ Camaro whether it's a 6 or an 8 and don't forget to show love your Camaro family!

No one asks whether it's a v6 or a v8 here because most of them don't know the difference. They just sit and admire the car. We have tons of people buy the v6's 'cause the v8's aren't cheap, new ones are around 50k soo yeah. Theyre all camaros in the end enjoy it.

I get the V6 / V8 question quite a bit from my co-workers (and occasionally outside of work.) My usual response is "I'm in my 40's. I gave up driving fast when I was in my 20's. The V6 tops out at 155mph. That's more than enough for me." That usually shuts them up.

You've got a 45th. The most badass camaro ever, short of the ZL1!!!
I might be biassed....

But seriously, don't worry about the v6 or v8 thing. Your V6 puts out more HP than their cars 9 times out of 10.

I think when he asked you if you have 6 speed, he meant a manual
People actually shake their head and walk away when you answered 6? That's so rude.
