You really dont think a private owner will best this recent high 11 on a prepped track and more seat time with more favorable DA?...think about it. To me it is obvious the current ZL1 edges out the current GT500 in the 1320. But will have a big problem with the 2013. |

I do disagree though on one point. On average with stock tires the difference will likely be even greater. The Current GT500 is far more traction limited with the stock rubber/set up. The video showed just how easy it was to break off that 12.1. It took Evan Smith and a prepped track to do something similar with the 500. Not to mention..auto zl1 vs gt500 on the street will likely be ugly for the 500 owner. |

The 2011 was faster. Just had to be at the right track with the right DA. Put a tire on both the GT500 and the ZL1 and run them. Racing 500hp+ cars on anything less than Drag Radials is retarded either way. |
