Anyone that installed a 3.6 KB, did you have a problem with the stock hood closing? I have a friend that has this problem.

Look up Migard's thread about his 3.6 install. He covers every issue he ran into doing the build, and I think he was one of the first 5th gen's with the 3.6.

I believe you just have to take the "webbing" or "netting" off on the inside of the hood. I would write Andy Ricketts...........aricketts@livernoismotorsports. com. He can tell you any other issues with fitting it under the hood.

Now that its a "finished" product....I really love this KB (3.6LC). There was more work getting it to where it is now...but its got a higher top end then the 2.9 whipple or maggie. The KB still has room for me to put in a larger built motor and maybe change out the tranny (if I have to). May not get there soon (due to $$)...but with a little nitrous and a larger motor...we'd be talking some really low 9's IMO.

go with the 2.8, yuo will only be able to utilize its largest pulley on a stock bottom end, getting around 560rwhp safely..imo
