Thought it might be fun for a bunch of us locals (and non locals if you really want to drive out). To check out The Dark Knight Rises next weekend at the Santee Drive in. I'm thinking saturday the 21st. Its only $8 and the movies typically start at 8:30 maybe 9 depending on how fast it gets dark.

Would probably want to get there early since its most likely going to be crazy.

We can hang out, talk cars and BS. Then watch a (hopefully) amazing movie.

Who's down?!

Details:
Box office opens at 7:30pm

Meet up at Sonic at 5:30pm. That will give us time to grab food to take back to the drive in (if you want) so we aren't hungry waiting in line. We could also park in their ordering stations which could make for some good photo-ops

10515 Mission Gorge Rd
(between Railroad Ave & 1st St)
Santee, CA 92071

We will leave Sonic at 6:00pm to get in line at the Santee Drive in.

Bring folding chairs if you want to sit outside the cars. I'm gonna toss a couple in my trunk (small ones) just in case.

You can also meet us inside the drive in if you don't feel like waiting in line with us. We will try to save spots but I expect it to be a full night.

Myself and the girl are in. We usually take the K5 with a bed mattress in the back, but guess we can do the Camaro this time. We usually get ther around 6pm to be first in line. The line forms quickly. Gates open at 730. We also bring a cooler of drinks and a bucket of Popeye's chicken.

We could all do a pot luck dinner. I have a couple folding tables that would fit in my trunk. Saw a bunch of Goldwing motorcycles with trailers that did the same thing.

Also if you want to use the truck thats cool too. I just thought it would be fun to have a group there either way.

Last time we went to the Santee Drive-in, we all meet-up by Papa Johns Pizza and then cruised over as a group. This also gave us tiem to stock up on snacks and food. Forgot the address, but I can look it up if anyone is interested.

That's sounds cool. There's also sonic burger down the street. We could tie up their ordering stations lol
