Goodyear's are junk, period. I've always ran BFG's on whatever I owned and love them for all the important reasons.

The first time that I met you and saw your car, you told me to plan for a tire budget.
Didn't think it would be quite this soon though, but you have done a good bit of both track and drag racing, so on balance, maybe not too bad.
Did they lasted about as long as you'd hoped?

I was thinking of buying one tire a month. It would seem a little less harsh then buying a complete set at once.
That's a steal! (you also get $80 back) Need to get out and do some tire burnsing then!!

When I looked on Tirerack in April, the fronts were 430 and backs 460 a piece! wow

Those are good prices.. The front one I got from Tire Rack last month cost me 385 shipped from LA to TX.

It was interesting to see that Michelin Super Sport had a 300 AA A / 30,000 mile rating in the front and the rears Pilot Super PS2 had a 220 AA tire rating with no milage. Thanks for the info. Maybe Hankook and some others will come out with tires that fit as well.

none of the max perfromance summer tires I have ran G1 F1 supercars, NT05's, Invo's, PS1, PS2 had any grip left at any where near 20k. I did run a couple sets to 15-17k but grip was gone before that.

that being said you could proabaly go 20k before teh cords where showing but it would be like driving on ice.

How do you put 13k miles on a Z in a few months? ><

I'm not daily driving mine, so it will be a while before I get there. Maybe 2 years.
