Anyone know how much the non-CF hood insert costs?

Of course I LOVE the look of the CF insert, but over $2k is insane when you have a wife and kids and aren't a lottery winner (haha)

A few hundred less than the carbon one remember they are both carbon fiber one is just exposed. Your better off getting the replica hood off eBay

Thats what I did $495 + $150 S&H + $375 for paint in all $1000

Can't wait to see it! What did you do for the insert part? Paint or CF wrap?

WOW, did not know that they were both CF, but seeing that pricing is eye opening! Someone quick, make some aftermarket CF inserts and price them in the $1500 range!

The hood is going to be painted glossy black and the insert in Ashton Gray Metallic. I have ordered a sheet of glossy CF vinyl looks just like the Exposted CF on the insert i will be applying this to the hood. It will be a few weeks until I get it on I will post pics once done.

You're going to paint the insert AGM but then cover the insert with CF vinyl? Or is there a design that I am missing? Which glossy CF vinyl if I may ask?

Correct painted the insert section AGM since its a fiberglass hood and it's all one piece. I will put CF vinyl over the insert area and if I get tired of the CAf look or the vinyl does not hold up I then have the insert area already painted AGM and I pull the vinyl off.
