Tire Racks, Tire Road Hazard Protection

Quote:
Under no circumstances will 100% coverage exceed $399.99 per covered tire.
So lol, you will still have to fork out some money.

Can you get a Tire Road Hazard Protection anywhere? Better through dealer?

I would honestly if I were you. I think you can add it after you purchase your vehicle. I'm not sure how long you have until time runs out but I would get it though.

Can you imagine just buying your vehicle then by some freak of nature you get a nail in the sidewall? I'd be pissed, I don't know about you. :(

I spoke a guy from Michelin customer service today. He told me that the Pilot Super Sport was a newer designed and better tire tire than their PS2 tires. They currently have no plans to make a 305/35-20 this year but they do make a 315/35-20 to go along with their 285/35-20 tire. I do not think there should be any big problems going up 10mm to a 315 rear tire. What do you think?

I believe the member from post #47 is running this setup. The Michelin is what I will get if I don't stick with the Goodyears.

At Spring Mountain Corvette school in Nevada, they take new Goodyears off the Grand Sport and Z06 vettes and replace them with PS2 immediately because they handle better and last longer. They say the tire change alone cuts several seconds off lap time. They told me that the new Pilot Super Sport is even better and lasts longer. In fairness, Michellin is a sponser, but the instructors there are drivers first and would not lie about the track time differences. As soon as my Goodyears wear out, I will replace them with Super Sports if available in close enough size, otherwise with PS2.

Are you using 285/35-20 and 315/35-20 Super Sports? Any handling difference compared to the Goodyears?
