Oil change from dealer every 4k miles at first (I had 4 free oil changes), but now Mobil 1 Synthetic every 5000-7500 miles. I use AC Delco filters.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Valvoline for me too!! Have been using it for many years!
A couple years ago,I was watching the mech. Pull my valve covers off to install roller rockers on my 350 silverado with(at the time)200,000 miles and he was amazed at how clean it was under the valve covers! He asked what kind of oil I used? I said, Valvoline . He grinned and I asked what kind of oil he used? Valvoline was his reply !
I special ordered this SWB truck in 96(with full bench seat)and took it to the drag strip to see what it would do a couple months ago and it ran mid 14's, with over 250,000 miles on it with just bolt ons and tune! Had a little trouble getting traction even with a 373 posi! IMO, part of the reason this truck still runs as good as it does is because of VALVOLINE

So Mobile 1 looks like the winner. Is this the Mobil 1 oil everyone uses?

I would not pay $10.00 a quart for extended performance.

Wally World has 5 quart jugs of regular Mobil 1 for about $30.00

Then I got some free Quaker state ultimate durability from a friend. So I put it in and the engine was silent not a tap or tick at all the quietest it has ever ran. Then when I bought my ls3 from day one I heard the same top end noise. You guys all know what I am talking about. Put in Quaker state at 1000 miles and it too is also silent now. Mobile 1 is just too noisey for my likeing.

I ran Mobile 1 for my second change from 800-2000 miles. Heard the same top end lifter tick. Switched to Amsoil and all is quiet.
