Short drivers please respond

So this thread is not to jab or insult our "vertically challenged" aka shorter drivers here.

But my friend who happens to be 4' 10" tells me every day how much she hates Camaros only because she wanted one and her uncle was going to shell out $25K for her to buy one outright. However, she claims she cannot drive the car and as a result could not get one and is now driving a 2012 Kia Forte.

So, I'm asking our shorter drivers, what is your height and what issues do you have driving these cars?

I'm 5'1" and have zero visibility issues. I don't even have the seat raised completely.

Maybe she meant an older generation without vertically adjustable seats? My grandmother was 4'10", but she just used a seat pad (wedge looking thing that raised her about 3").

5'4 and never had a problem with any of the Camaros I've driven.

I've also driven a Forte for a week and the visibility in that car is just awful, so not sure what she's complaining about.

I'm 5'4", and don't have issues.... But I can't imagine being 4'10" and being able to see a thing. My seat is raised, buut not all the way, and moved forward, not all the way.... I don't know if it goes up and forward enough more to make up for 6 inches iin height.
If I were your friend, I wouldn't be hating Camaros, I'd be hating my uncle for getting me a Kia.

my sister is 5'0" and she can see perfect with the seat up. Its her DD too. She's taken it on many long 8 hour trips without hesitation.

5 feet tall, no problems with the adjustable seat. I can see over the wheel, out the back, seems normal to me!

Is it a newer model or an early 2010?

The early 2010 model seats don't raise quite as high. I'd like mine to raise higher. I've driven a number of later ones than mine and they all raise higher than mine. I actually wish mine raised another half inch or so.
