I don't understand the whole charity angle that is worked out between both parties. and yes, the dealership excuse statement doesn't hold any water with me. "They drove it like they stole it" pretty much sums it up. Yes there only seemed to be a minute or so of actual tire frying and clutch cooking, still that's enough for me, it's irrelevent how the rest of the joy ride went, I figured he just edited it out since it was probably boring.

Seems it was a 2SS non RS, doubt we will be indulged any dollar amount information, too bad.

I dont know about keeping his ride but I agree he should of left in a new car.

Maybe he didnt want a new car from Chevy though, so thats why he settled for the buy back. Again, cant really blame him, someone sells you a product then starts jacking you around and lying, and the dealerships are the face of GM, so what they do GM does, Im not sure I would want to even deal with the product ever again.

He obviously never sought legal advice. Or, he did and was told to play nice because it would cost a lot of money to take it to court.
