You guys kill me . What do you think marketing research companies do, just randomly do studies and try to sell them to the manufactures after wards?

No, they are commissioned by the companies and the companies tell them what information they want out of it, the even tell them what questions to ask. In some cases they will give researchers a script.

The research companies job is ask the questions and gather the info. Then present to the client in a nice easy to understand package.

And we all know if we didnt have a SS Camaro we would most likely be in a 5.0 and there is not a damn thing wrong what that.
And all this time I thought the Corvette was first in '53.

I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else that was not my intent.

I merely responded to what he said, and I did not alter his words. If that is not what he meant to say I'm sorry about that. But it was a quote of his words not me putting words in anyone's mouth.

So please sit back and take , it just a group of people with a passion for the same car.

If you want to be mad at someone try looking at Kiss My SS comments. He is straight-up insulting all the V6 owners, which you're one of.

Well -- I did it, but I also signed a confidentiality agreement, so I can't say what went on -- but it was a basic focus group and it was run by Ford.

Trying to get inside of the minds of Mustang, Camaro and Challenger owners on why they choose one car over the other.

It was fun.
