A big advantage of the Maggie kits is the lack of any scheduled maintenance. The only item to keep an eye on is the drive belt. Just as any drive belt, if it shows any signs of wear, immediately replace it. The drive gear oil, however, has a service life of 80,000 miles. This oil is available as supercharger oil, and can be purchased directly through GM dealerships.

I think most of us expect the SC to outlive the engine by a longshot

I recommend to use green coolant in the intercooler reservoir.
The only reason, is to help diagnose a coolant leak in the event that is needed.
Dex-cool NEEDS to be in the radiator system.

okay, so what if you wanted green, but the shop used Dexcool? will a water hose flush & refill be fine?

I just completed my whipple install today and ran what whipple recommended in their instructions. 50-50 of distilled water and dex cool, plus a bottle of redline water wetter.
