Not really a Ford man but I do like the look from the rear much better than the front view!! That front view just does not cut it for me.

Last I saw did mention influences from the EVOS concept, but that the car would keep the round front headlights, while looking more aston martin-ish. So the rendering is probably not all that far off, outside of the front fascia/headlight treatment

If i were to design a new gen mustang I would progress through the 60's styling cues toward the 70's with the fast back look. I think theres still much the mustang can do to honor its origins.

I agree, that the Mustang has lots of design elements it can keep drawing from to maintain it's updated classic looks.

The danger is when the designers forget these simple ideas as they did from the mid 70's through 2004. The 2005 was a design correction, and hopefully Ford will continue to carefully update the car to keep reflecting it's look and classic features. Erik
