Bought mine new in May of 2010, ordered it because they had none on the lot.... 2SS/SS with sunroof, 6 speed, IOM exterior, and the IOM interior.... I paid 39,900.... as someone said earlier, there was no haggling with the price, either you paid it, or not....

Got mine new for roughly $27k. The reason it was so cheap is because I bought it in June 2011, and also did a trade in with a 2005 Mazda 6 (not worth much) plus I had an inside man at the stealership

Got my 2010 2ss/rs 26,800 had 30k miles on it with cai and borla exhaust. Picked it up Nov 3 very pleased.

Ok I will say this. Don't believe some of the prices people say they bought their car for. There are some that exaggerate the deal they got to make others feel bad about their deal.
Same goes for these threads about Gas Mileage or even 1/4 mile times. I always view threads like these with some degree of skepticism.

As they say, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is,

RJT. 2ss/rs. M6 with sunroof and stripes. Only one on the lot. Dealer told me strait up that they were 4ggrand over invoice. Didn't even blink an eye $42'440. Got hosed I know but I wanted it so I bought it.

10 months later I wanted a Raptor so I sold the Camaro for $38'500 and bought the Raptor.

3 weeks after that my wife decided she wanted a Camaro so we bought her a 2011 1ls $23'700.
Normally I would try my damnedest to get the price down but as people have already said you either payed what they wanted or you didn't own one.

I paid $34k for mine (2SS/RS and auto too) brand new when I bought mine. After tax and title it was like $36k something.
