King T - I've had this one for about 4 years. It was maroon when I got it. The odometer says 35,000 miles. It's possible that they are the original miles but I don't know for sure. I've put about 14,000 miles on it. It's been a rolling restoration/daily driver the whole time I've had it.

I would have to say my favorites are the 1969 Chevelle in the very first post and the 1970 Chevelle that has the LS6, 454 unrestored car. 2 beautiful cars!!!
Actually, not really sure now?? Tony's got some killer cars with the Viper and the 1969 project car which looks like it's going to be a pro-touring beast.
DanD has got some killer cars as well. Very nice collection!!

Hey monza66mo, just curious why your car has '65 tail lights on it?? I still have the 65 Corsa I drove in high school, and still just love em. Thanks for posting your pictures.

To all those who scoff at the Corvair...... remember, for a time, it had the most horsepower per cubic inch of anything offered by GM. (starting in 1965, a factory turbo charged engine that made 180 h.p. out of a mere 164 cu. in.) and offered fully independent suspension at the same time!!

And it still got pretty good mileage with a 4 speed and 3.55 gears.

Hey, good catch on the tail lights. Only Vair guys know the difference. I swapped out the '66 lenses (sometimes called jello molds) because I like the looks of the '65 style better.

Why don't you post up a pic of your Corsa?
