I've seen that hail before in IL but wow... I would have gone nuts seeing that happening. Good thing the paint was strong, for that wave of hail, seen marble and golf ball sized hail in my lifetime.

And I know Onstar will rock.

Why didn't you move it to the higher ground on the grass?? Looks like it is high enough for water to get inside the vehicle too.. How much damage did the hail do to the paint>?

Water never got inside thankfully and there was no damage at all. The street was shallow on the driver-side, so I could get in and drive it out of there. I just called On-Star to be sure none of the vitals were damaged. Did you check out the grass? It was just as flooded. :(

I would have thrown myself on top of the car to protect it from that pelting.............How is there NO damage........I cannot believe it. You are lucky today, for sure.
