Tamed the Pypes bomb V8 exhaust today

So few months ago I decided to trade out my MRT v2.0 for the pypes. As these are made for the V8 camaro, had to have the exhaust modified to fit. Everything wend great and I loved the sound but the drone was killing me. At highway speeds it was almost unbearable. Well finally had enough so I bout the magnaflow x-pipe. OMG best thing I could have done. The drone is gone. The magnaflow also mellowed the exhaust note out. Now I can hear myself think but still have the sound I want. And at WOT it still roars nicely. I will admit I was skeptical that a 100 dollar part would fix my issue, man I was wrong Great job magnaflow!!

Ii to decided to go the rout of Pypes but i opted to do the cat-back myself. I also just ordered a set of LT headers I'm just waiting for those to come in. would love to see a video of your system! I plan to make one as soon as I get all the parts in to do the install.

Thanks, yea my next exhaust related upgrade will be OBX LT's. I am going to try and make a vid tomorrow. The sound is just great! I was having way too much fun revving her up on the way home. I have my own welding equipment and can weld but no access to a lift

The magnaflow resonated X muffler with muffer deletes (or near deletes like yours) sure does seem to be popular.
