This is why you install a catch can!!!!

First off thanks to Apex-Speed for the quick shipping. Now first off I had a catch can that I built on the car. And for what it was it caught a decent amount of oil, or so I thought. So I decided it was time to buy a real one. I picked up a Elite Engineering can. I was installing a vmax ice-olator and decided it would be a good time to see what was inside the intake manifold. Crap there was a lot of oil. People this is the crap that is building up in your intake. I would rather spend 165 and have this not building up in my manifold. Plus the can looks sexy under the hood

Thanks for your order. A catch can is a "must have" if you plan on keeping your car for more than a couple years. Especially for you guys with the LLT and LFX engines that do not have fuel flowing over the valves.

It is not just a GM thing. All engines do this but direct injection engines (you will notice that all new engines from all manufacturers are going to this) are especially susceptible.
