Might be a new camaro owner soon

Well I've been fighting back and forth, mustang vs camaro, L99 vs LS3.

I've decided to go with the camaro, I love the interior much more than the mustang. I now have a garage where the car will be stored when I'm not driving it too.

Ill have the money this week to put down about $8-10k, which is all I'm willing to throw down out of my money. I wanna have enough for an exhaust and CAI after I buy.

I'm excited and nervous at the same time!

I like both cars. good luck with your purchase. go with your gut feel not the price tag.

I test drove both cars and that is what it came down too for me. The Camaro ended up costing more than the gt premium I was looking at but the Camaro just felt better to me.

The mustang was auto that I test drove and the Camaro was an LS3. Might have been a different story had they had a stick in the mustang.

LS3
Torn between inferno orange metallic or crystal red.
1SS but may go to a 2SS since I'd like to have leather seats

By the way. If it gets got in the summer there like it does here in Texas... Avoid black leather seats. It's not fun burning yourself when you get into the car sometimes.

The mustangs are fun to drive but I just love the feel of the camaro. My buddy (who works at my Chevy dealer) asked me this "do you want a pony car, or a Muscle Car?". That's when I decided 110% on the camaro. Just gotta wait for a day off of work to go up there.

Since you decided on LS3 you should definitely look into getting the NPP (Dual Mode Exhaust). In my opinion it sounds awesome and saves you from having to get a exhaust

Thanks ill keep that in mind, also I said ls3, but the dealer is willing to drop the $1300 increase if I buy an L99, since they mainly have L99's at that particular dealer. I told him I want an LS3 and he offered me a discount on the L99 since that's what's on the lot.

I'm thinking the same, I love the dual mode exhaust, and I may cave and just get what's on the lot (L99), but I'm thinking about ordering one custom from the dealer with all the exact options I want

go with the 1le option and dual mode exhaust. Do not buy anything if it is not what you want even if you have to wait.

Agreed. Ordered mine last April with exacly what I wanted and had to wait until July 5th to get it. The wait damned near killed me, but the permagrin you get when you take delivery is indescribable.
