It all started out since I was four years old, Every christmas, every birthday every job i've ever had, has all gone towards this car. My dad had a 1st and 2nd gen and I grew up loving camaros. But I always had the heart for a mustang. I saved every single year so that on my 17th birthday when i was able to drive i could purchase a 2007 mustang gt. I had about 22,000 saved by the time I was ready to buy the car. Unfortunately my dad passed away the summer of my 17th birthday and I was devastated. I no longer cared about my dream or anything. But as time moved on i learned to move on and live my life, being a firm believer in everything happening for a reason and time healing all wounds. I gave up on my dream of my mustang and decided i was going to go ahead and get a used 2010 camaro ss so i could uphold something my dad held dear. It may sound strange but To this day everytime i get in the car i can picture him telling me he was proud of me and he loved my car and wish he was there to share in it. After months of painstaking dealer visits, one attempt by a dealer to scam me, no luck in the classifieds, i finally found my camaro. It was 5 hours away in upstate new york, i bought it from a local camaro5 member. I didn't sleep the night before, and the whole ride there i was dying to finally experience my dream. And then i saw it sitting in the garage staring at me. I fell in love. I will never forget my first drive in it. So the rest is history I bought my 2ss/rs on april 28, 2011 with only 16,000 miles on it I will be uploading pictures of my progress, how far we have came and the journey of me and my one true love DAY OF PICKUP Trip to applebees Last edited by Blackou7; 02-18-2013 at 07:56 AM. |
