Alot of these throttle body claims and others could be cleared up with not just A-B testing but A-B-A testing and more effort on keeping variables consistent. In the case of a throttle body, or any other part that is super simple to change out, why not take the time to do A-B-A testing. Coolant and oil temps kept consistent, etc etc. Dyno testing each change in blocks of 3 or so, and looking at the average gains or losses of that block for that change, before proceeding to the next change would also weed out alot of this nonsense.

If you want another unbiased dyno, I have a dyno jet in NC and will be glad to test this on my own car, 2010 LS3 heads/cam. Can even video the whole thing if C5 likes.

I would like to see it tested on another PD supercharged car to see if they can get the same results. I can all but promise that if those results are accurate they will not be able to make enough of them to fill the orders.

You guys are still blabbing about nonsense, and no one has addressed the junk tune on that car. LMK when a piston melts.

jeeeeeze some of you guys are brutal. guess i have to admit i agree. my tuner thinks ported throttle bodies are not worth any amount of money...and he has been tracking vettes and now a 1 le for quite a while.

if you send a unit to cunningham motorsports and it is backed up there i know you would sell alot of product...his shop is full of vettes and camaros that see various tracks.

as i stated earlier, the Dyno Dynamics dyno does not smooth the graph like a dynojet. The tune that is on the car has been on there for about 20,000 miles so far and no pistons have melted.

Uh, that isn't the result of dyno smoothness. Do you need me to open paint and highlight the issue for you? As a proclaimed 'tuner' it should be pretty obvious to you.

Thanks, I see what you are talking about and as I'm sure you know, there are many things that can cause timing to be pulled, Knock sensors not desensitized enough causing the sensors to pull timing due to excess noise/pulses from thin walled long tube headers, bad gas, higher amounts of Ethanol in the gas, etc, etc.

As I stated the tune has been on the car for 20,000+ miles with absolutely no issues. If I ran the car on a Dynojet with graph smoothing you wouldn't see any abrupt changes on the HP and Torque lines.

Bottom line is I appreciate your concern...but I'm completely happy with my tune.

Thanks for reaching out. Always good to have another set of eyes to look at things.

Will give you a call and see if we can set something up. You are only about 2.5 hour drive away. maybe we can get a PD boosted car for same day.

Anyone on here in the Moorseville NC area with a PD suprcharged and interested car PM me or Kelly please.
or call 276-666-1934

Thanks Again Dave
