has anyone else looked into the supermatic controller from gmpp for the 4l80 i was thinking of going with it for my conversion instead of the pcs controller

Yes PCS does make the gmpp supermatic controller but the PCS version does not support a CAN connection the gmpp does the can connection makes for a more clean/simple install the gmpp does cost more though also pcs told me that the gmpp does come with better instructions geared more toward a DIY er and theirs for tuners/builders

Wow never seen this post, So you sold me a Converter out of a burnt trans? That might explain why my trans started slipping after putting it in.

All of the guys we've done 4l80e's in have been a lot happier with the shift feel and pattern especially in 600+ rwhp cars. We even made a kit to handle the electronics!

Love the long frist gear in the 4l80 over the quick gear chage of the 6l80. you get to feel the power.
