I think it's worth a little more than that. 7 or 8 year old Z06 is hardly comparable to your deal. Sounds like you got a good deal though.

Not bad at all!

I assume this was sold privately... Was the goal to sell it this early or did the buyer just offer you an amount that obviously you couldn't refuse (I wouldn't either)?

Naw I sold it to a to a Main Dealer here in Vegas. My goal was to get as much for it as I could. I really didn't think I'd get more then 22-23 out of it tho. But I wouldn't of sold it for that I would of just kept it.

We have bought over 150k worth of new cars from this dealer over the last 7-8 years. They took care of us

Can't wait to see that Z/28! I haven't been paying attention, when can you order them/when are you ordering yours?

So you know you'll be able to get one? I heard they're going to be a VERY limited production. 1,885 2012 ZL1's were produced and my Dad had a Hell of a time trying to find one at sticker. After 4 months, he finally found a good dealer that wasn't raping people for $5k-10k over.

Ok, cool. Yea, the 2013 ZL1's can easily be bought for under MSRP now. The 2012's though, dealers were asking $5k, 10k, 20k over!!! My Dad was even paying cash for it and they said they didn't care. He finally got his for $500 under sticker after a furious 4 month search. Good luck with the buy!

Dealer could care less about cash. They get incentives for financing cars and kick backs they would rather not sell the car for cash. What they want is your Down payment. I'll get it that's not my worry its the wait.

Congrats! Hope you're one of the first to own one so you can post some videos and pictures on this site.

Just some random thought...
Best thing to do (if you got cash) would be to put a down payment at a high rate, so the dealer sells it quick and at a lower price. In a week or two you just pay it all off. Just something that might work, not for the OP.

the dealer gets paid either way, whether you finance or pay cash, the bank is the one that takes the risk
