That attracts some serious drivers in some serious cars. 35 to 60 seconds of pure adrenaline when the car LIVES in transition can be fairly stimulating.

That could have as much to do with the driver as the car, and probably did lol, I would guess there are quite a few Mts and FRS/BRZs putting hurtings on those V6 Camaros (we are talking stock to stock right?)

Stock for stock, I have a hard time believing that's true. But I have a feeling you're comparing your heavily modified V6 against a stock SRT-8 which is rather disingenuous at best.

You obviopusly have not prioced the dodge/ crysler srt 8s they are way more expensive than a tricked out SS and slower and heavier and uglier, hell the challenger srt 8 is nicer than the charger any day and cheaper, and a 300 thats paying stupid money in the 60k range ...might as well be a zl1

I would get a used, but fanatically maintained modded Camaro by perusing the cars for sale section of this forum. Most of the guys on here take their cars seriously and even though it may have mods, I am betting it has been meticulously taken care of.
I bought my Camaro from the forum cars for sale. Best decision I ever made.
