I got my hands on a set of the Emblem Pros 1LE emblems today so here are some pics and my impressions.

First of all, I think they look pretty good. The pics don't necessarily do them justice. I will probably leave them on until a better product is available as I do like the overall look.

The factory ZL1 emblems are much thicker and have a beveled top that dies back into the hood. These are simply thin flat pieces.

There are a few issues that I had to work on to make them acceptable to me. First of all the lower leg of the "L" was about 3/16" longer across than the lower leg of the "E" on both pieces. I trimmed them down to make them the same size. Also, there was a bur on the bottom of both of the E's that had to be filed off to not be noticeable.

Here's the final result:

your spacing isn't even between the three pieces, but at least it looks consistent between both sides i didn't notice a length difference when i got mine, but that was also 6 months ago, and i really didn't measure them. i doubt i'd notice 3/16" when i was excited to put them on...although now you made me want to measure, lol...i didn't have any burrs, but the edges are pointed enough that i've got to take a little extra care when i chamois the hood.
anyway, looks good!

Anyone have any idea's of what the Medium size would look like on the hood instead of the Large size? I know the large is the correct size for the hood, just seems kinda bulky.

When I made all 3 spaces consistent I didnt like the look as much. I made the space between the 1 and the L larger to balance the 3 pieces overall. I may change it, but will probably give it a couple of days to see how I feel about it then.???

Here's how Chevy did it for the marketing material.... They also made the space between the 1 and L larger than the space between the L and the E.

You made me second guess my spacing, but here's another example of how I think it's supposed to be....

lol...wasn't trying to knock your work. IMO there's no right or wrong way to do this, short of re-arranging/re-orienting. everyone seems to have theirs slightly different than the next guy in some way, so it's all good. like i said, at least you're consistent between the two sides, so good work

The "L" is also wider than the "E" in your GM picture "just like Like our pieces are".
This is where our design came from, and GM is very specific on designs Being exact.
In fact: they will not approve them, if they are not correct.

Roger, Any tips for putting the front grille emblem on? As far as getting it to line up right?

Remove your existing emblem.

I have been making templates for the emblem if people need them. Except for the grill piece, because the area it fits is very small.

Here is my working drawing. This fits there.
