stock engine cover for maggie SC

Here a bunch of pics from last night when I cut up my stock engine cover to fit the maggie next step will be paint.

I cut everything with the bandsaw then did my smoothing and rounding with a dremel. If you are curious about how I did anything just give me a shout and I will try to explain what I did

I retained a couple of the mounts one that slips on the fuel rail on the passengers side it also used the fill cap fromthe factory and then on the drivers side there is a gromet that it snaps into that I used also. I then used some metal that is similar to plumbers strap but a bit thicker and stronger but still bendable and used one bolt form a coil on each side to hold it and those body clips to screw my bolt into that just slide over the hole. When I get it painted I will try to take pictures of my brackets they are nothing special but effective.
