I'm sure they are, but still they are ugly for a base model and the upgrades aren't that great either.
Bout the only thing you could do to those rims is plastidip them black like on a white car.
Otherwise you may as well say you need to buy new wheels.

I've seen better looking factory wheels on a $20,000 factory car.

The rest of the car is very nice.
I guess you are referring to the red car, What about the ones on the black one?

Are these shipped with those blocks that prevent the springs from moving when shipping that haven't been removed yet? Car looks like it's on stilts. Still love it though.

These are way better than the 1st ones on the red car. And IMO these should be the base model wheels. But I guess if there is a price difference, it's good to have a cheap wheel option for those that plan on buying aftermarket wheels anyways.

That's what I am thinking. you can just buy the base wheels if you are planning to get aftermarket ones anyway and save yourself some money. Or you can get the optional wheels if you don't plan on changing them out... Then again some people may like that style wheel. everyone has different tastes. Many keep telling me I need to swap my wheels out. but the reason I got the 1LT in the first place was because I liked the wheel design better than the ones that came with the RS package or the optional wheel packages...

I went by my dealer a little while ago, someone had just taken delivery of the only one they had gotten in about 20 minutes before I got there. He told me it will be several months before they get any "Lot" cars. all their allocation is spoken for.

The wheels on the red one look way better in person.

But I would still option for the machined finish.

They are very comparable to the wheels that came standard on C6 Vettes.
