Anybody know the tread width on Nitto Motivo 315's???

I cannot find the tread width listed anywhere? I am interested in the Motivo 315/35 20 tires. If you have them, would you please take a measurement for me? Very much appreciated...Thank You - Bruk.

Well, I just recently viewed a thread on here where the Nitto 315 INVO's were compared and are smaller in tread width than the Michelin Pilot 295s. Also, I have read a couple of threads on this forum that the Nitto's generally run narrower in tread width than others. My question simply is: What is the tread width of the Nitto Motivo 315's. Nitto does not list this specification on their website and neither does Tire Rack.

I see what you are saying, I looked also trying to help you out and I couldnt find specs showing tread width either...and you are right, I was gonna go with the nitto invo tire at first but when I found out that they run narrower than some other brands so I went with the Michelin pilot super sport, they actually run wider than most other brands. If I find the specs on the motivo I will let you know

Brukshot I just found this, it may help.. if overall width means tread witdth, that is good because the michelin 315 tread width is 12.5",but it could mean the section width, because the section width is the overall length from the inner sidewall to the outer sidewall

You are close MrWray! I thought the same thing, but, unfortunately, the section width does not automatically mean tread width. It would be so nice to be able to call Nitto directly, but unfortunately they will not list their phone number on there website. I think I will look for a different brand. "How can you be a tire company" and "not have a phone number for your customer to call you" on your company website?

Section width is 12.52 on a 11 inch wheel. I have a set, but since it is 35 degrees and raining here I won't be going out to measure them tonight. If you REALLY need to know this shot me a PM and I will do it for you tomorrow in the comfort of my garage.
