Thanks,

Well thinking along the lines of IRON MAN I may do the following,

ZL1 rocker with a vinyl STARK ENTERPRISES w/gloss black lettering and a thin gold outline.

Also a friend found this possible cup holder not sure of our dims http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/f3b3/

Oh and if when ... a carbon fiber hood is available again (OEM) have it painted a very clear gold peral essence. (sorry for bad spelling)

Blue interrior lighting...

Here is a photo with the clouds showing on the rear of the car. Kinda cool and was not expected, also you can see the sun shining off of it.

Did the fuse pull (placebo) I removed the #5 and #20, I also removed the #10 from the rear fuse box. I guess tomorrow I will see if this is any different. Yes I use premium gas and Yes it has been about five tank fulls now. Also yes I put the #10, #5 and #20 back in the car and started it. Seems smoother than before oh and yes I removed the #8 Exhaust why not I said may as well try it while I am here.

Below is a picture of the rear fuse box, just in case your wondering what the #10 fuse is.

After looking at my post What is the R2 EXH Flap for... bah... do I need to remove that also... hummm...

I also found this thread:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251422&page=7

Post #167 shows that pulling the trunk as well is in fact recommended during a fuse pull for this reason even though it's a ZL1 area.

I think I might go try it again with the trunk fuse pull and try yet another test next weekend. I went driving today and I got 23 mpg as well as +/-1 on hills. Highway and cruise control of course though when possible were used.

Prior to the first fuse pull I couldn't get over 20 mpg. I am going to go with the fact that I've probably been getting better quality gas as well as the fuse pull both have to have helped.

I have noticed it's much easier to shift and be in traffic, as I said somewhere else... Even if it's subconscious, that's fine by me.

I agree with you, after my fuse pull the car seemed to idle better. The car seemed to accelerate better, not shave a second off but a good pedal feel. Heck I went to work sick today, and loved it.. I may not tomorrow... Thanks for the link Matt!!!

Nice to hear that from someone else around the area. You're welcome, and I hope you feel better soon.

I caught wind of a club track event in April... Drag strip in Bremerton. Details are hazy at the moment but I'm sure you can find them.

So thinking about the Iron Man theme and my car looking for the correct gold someone stated this about the movie..

"In the Avengers, WETA simulated Iron Man's colour as a metal flake suspended in coloured enamel, with a clear coat over the top. Apparently the CGI clear coat was reative with the metallic base coat, meaning in outdoor scenes it started to take on a purple or blue hue. This effect was toned down to an acceptable level, but probably helps explain why the colour of the armor is so tricky to nail down as it is constantly changing!"

Thats good!!! as the CRT has a blue / purple hue.. now to find the gold color....

So where the blue paint is replace it with the gold... Now sure about the gold spears...
I figure to remove the black vinyl put Stark Enterprise on one side of the hood. Then overlay another layer of vinyl like someone did with the 1LE design, only the stark ent. would run vertical on the hood...

Like where you are headed.

Have you thought about leaving the hood stock and getting ZL1 rockers to tie the front and back together? You could use your idea of the Stark embossed wrap on the rockers...

Also try this link for the paint http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
