VERY COOL!

Nathan did you route your plug wires yet? Curious to see what you are doing there with the way the coils are mounted

Oh and the four gauge pack went out yesterday, should be there Thursday - if USPS is running on time that is.

Congrats Nathan! There's no denying your dedication.

Also curious how the new coil relocation turns out.

Thanks Jim, we appreciate you spreading the word. Was hoping to catch up with you at PRI but didn't realized I had missed a whole section of the show till I was walking out on Saturday.

Thanks guys!

On the coil relocation bracket, we are scrapping the idea of mounting them on the oil pan. We are planning on running a dry sump in the future which means we would have to move the coils elsewhere. We are going to relocate them to the tubular cradle.

Literally two days of thinking and fabbing these brackets wasted , LOL.

Hey Synner, now I see what you meant from your last post. I will have to flip the adapter upside down like you did. It also creates more clearance so that the hoses wont rub against anything. Thanks for the tip.

Modified the brackets that came with the coolers making two into one.

Here are the end brackets we made to tie coolers to the crash support.

Spent $40 on 7" of 1' 120 wall chromoly tubing to fab the support structure for the rear coolers. We weighed the bar and decided it was too heavy at 7 pounds, so we bought some aluminum tubing and just welded the exiting bracket to them. The whole deal came in at 3 pounds. I didn't take pictures of the bottom side but the cooler brackets are welded from end to end. We metal finished all the welding so it looks like one piece. There's at least 7 hours in fab work on it and we still need to powder coat it.

Welded and mild these spacers to mount the brake booster reservoir.

In the end, we decided to just make our own from scratch. That was another $86 in spacers wasted . We are starting to get use to doing thing two to three times, just to get a piece that we'll be able to use.

The ones we milled came out really cool, but I forgot to take pictures of them. I'll post some at a later date.

Man, I can't wait to get this car done! We drove an hour each way today to buy a bunch of XRP fittings to finish the plumbing. Half of them, we have to exchange as they wont work as assumed. The new official name of the project is..........."Project: Nothing Fits"

Now, I did see a new Dart aluminum block that will be available in Feb.........HMMMMM. Somebody please me

.

Well I can at least stop you from doing ONE thing 6 different times.

I'm curious the pump system you use on the rear diff when you get to that point.

After driving the car a bit more with no oil/trans coolant warmup feature I'm getting a tad annoyed with the trans warmup time. I'm thinking one of these might end up on the car in the next year to reduce trans warmup time. It takes forever right now.

And I think my next move is a 5/6 point harness. The shenanigans I can do now with the torque is pretty insane so I see myself getting thrown around way too much. Driveshaft loop extension bracket is still backordered so no gear install yet. The diff finally showed up after a month of excuses and delays.

Pondering modifying the stock seat for the 5th point to continue with the stealth theme. Wanna keep my girl chubby, more cushion for the pushin. Plus I can't afford to put her on a diet...

Anyone installing carbon-fiber driveshafts on their build? Just curious, thanks (in advance) for any info...
