Hit a curb and rear suspension is damaged.
I spun out this morning on a wet road (possible black ice) and hit a curb damaged 3 wheels. My drivers side rear wheel is turned in badly and the other side slightly. I dont want to make a claim but i feel its going to be to much out of pocket costs. Hell the 21 inch tires are $500 each. Has anybody had similar damage? I feel like my best friend died...lol

You may have to claim this..there is likely more damage then you can see.

File a claim and get it fixed right. That's what insurance is for.
...and welcome to C5. Wish you would have come here with better circumstances though. |

I agree to file a claim, that's what you pay insurance for. Sorry for your misfortune.

I did pretty much the same thing to my driver's rear. I have Pfadt control arms and those folded on impact. The other thing that got messed up was the sway bar mounts. The impact pushed the bar towards the passenger side and that caused the clamps to bend.
The most expensive parts will be your wheels. I suggest taking off the rear wheel and start looking at what is damaged and make a list to price out. From the picture it doesn't look too bad, but you won't know until you get the wheel off. I had to replace the wheel, both Pfadt control arms, and the sway bar clamps. The lower control arm was fine. Once you replace the parts, you'll need to get an alignment. Oh, check the outer boot on the axle too. Make sure there are not any cuts in it.

I did same thing last year. I thought it would be easy fix....oh no. There is a lot of stuff in there that was damaged you can't see. I had just turned from a stop sign and wasnt even going fast and did enough damage i had to file a claim.
Things i remember off top my head to replace we're, LCa, toe rod, sway bar links, rim, axel (boot ripped and cheaper to replace whole axel with used one), brake line |

Like the others have said, claim it. There are probably more damages underneath...but at least your insurance will take care of your car and you don't have to worry about anything...(apart from increasing the fee on your insurance)
