Ice on the interior sunroof?
So it's 15 degrees here, no rain, no snow. There is a thin layer of ice on the inside of the sunroof, but not on any of the windows. Is this normal? It doesn't usually get this cold here in the south and I had a factory issue with caved-in dents around the sunroof that the dealer just "fixed." <--crappiest job ever so I use this term loosely.
Cold weather people please tell me this is normal.

Normal for a bit of condensation to form and freeze up when you get in. My truck will form ice on all the windows when I get in until the heat is fully cranked up and warm.

15° outside temp with warm interior.
Combine that with your defroster not really blowing air against the sunroof and it is possible to get frost on the inside glass. No sunroof in our Camaro, but I have seen this before on other vehicles. We also had frost on the inside surface of one of our house windows this morning.

Ok good. All other windows were fine before heat/defroster was on, but hopefully just normal. Only worried because the dealer made the dents almost worse than when I took it in.
eta: Ok just replicated conditions in the Odyssey and there is also ice on the interior of the sunroof there. How funny, never even use that sunroof but do in the Camaro all the time. Anyway, thank you for the replies! The dents just have me freaked out a little!

When I was a kid, in my parents house that had steel framed, glazed, single pane windows, ice would form on the inside of the windows all the time in the winter. Condensation results from the warm inside air and the cold window; it's humidity really. When it gets cold enough, that condensation freezes. In the case of a sunroof, it could be that there is a slight air leak too. When the temperature is warm enough, open the sunroof and carefully clean any gaskets and seals you can with the recommended method GM prescribes and treat the gaskets or seals if possible, again with the product GM recommends.

It's -17F below zero here in northern Ohio. My Camaro is in storage but my other vehicles are all frosted up on the inside including the sunroof's. Yes it's common and happens all the time, more so if you are in the vehicle. Your breath creates moisture which freezes on the glass.

Thanks for the responses!
Miami sounds really good right now! So jealous! Based on the temps some of you posted I shouldn't complain. It got down to around 6F last night which is crazy for Atlanta. There isn't any snow but they still called off school. My daughter just tried to let the dog out and said "Mom, there's something weird with the door." It's frozen shut. lol
