Just installed Vararm, have some questions

Hi,

I installed Vararam CAI this weekend and I have some questions:

1. MAF is upside down, is it right? It seems the right way to do it.. since it changed from one side of the tube on stock to other side on Vararam, and it's supposed to go one way only.. but I still wanted to double check

2. When I look under the grille, Vararam scoop is sticking only for about 1 inch under the body bar, is it normal? I tried to push it as deep as possible.. and this seems to be the lowest it could go.

3. Can I install ported TB with Vararam?

On a general note, I love it!
Install was really simple, took me 15min, car is running great..
It's still in learning mode but I feel some power improvements and the throttle response is amazing!

The MAF should have a arrow on it, showing the air direction. It doesn't matter where it is on the tube, as long as the arrow is pointing in the right direction. A ported TB is still a OEM TB so it will work fine. The scoop gets it's air reflected off the radiator. It doesn't stick down in the airflow like some like to think.

Thanks for answers.

Here's the picture, the black strip in marked area is the scoop from Vararam. The scoop on the intake is about 2-3 inches wide, however only 1 inch or so is sticking down from under the metal bar.
I was under the impression that the whole scoop should be visible under the grille

The holes in the MAF sensor are not symetrical, so virtually impossible to install it wrong without drilling new holes or really forcing it.

Your picture has me completely baffled, can't figure out what I'm looking at.

You are looking through the grille at the radiator and Vararam scoop
