Feeling Bamboozled.

I brought a set of wheels from someone on this forum. They told me that the wheels would fit with no problems. I asked would I have to worry about rubbing or needing spacers and they told me no. I went to put the wheels on in the front and they wouldn't clear the spring perch because of the tire 285/35/22. So I went to get new tires for the front and went to put the wheels on they didn't clear the calipers. After talking to a couple of rim shops they told me that my tire size for the back 285/35/22 is too tall also. I don't know what to do.Should I just order 2 wheels 22x9 30 or 35 offset for the front with 255/30/22 tires? Would someone please point me in the right direction on how to handle this.

Wheel sizes----22x10.5 Offset 38
Tire sizes----285/35/22

Thank you so much for helping me.

did you buy just the wheels, or wheels with tires on them? Did you ask the member you bought them from about it?

Honestly, If it were me and it was a private sale I would return them.
If it was from a vendor, I would ask them to make it right.
A +38 offset seems big to me for the front, but I don't know about on 22s.

If they won't make it right, post up on the forum and let everybody know who they are so nobody else gets taken advantage of.
