I too was on the fence over colour choice, but it was between RRM and CRT, the Red Hot was my 3rd pick until I saw it at the autoshow on the new Z28. It was instant love !! Haven't looked back since, these pictures will show you what I mean:

Its a beautiful car but I don't like the price. To me the ZL1 is a better choice over the Z28. If I could have afforded the ZL1 I definetly would have jumped on it.

I really like the rocker panels though. Might have to track those down. Can't see why they wouldn't fit my car.

I've been comparing them all (1LE, ZL1 & Z/28), personally I think it's best to purchase a 1LE and add what Z/28 components you want as they become available. They showed a 1LE at a recent car show with some Z/28 upgrades on it.
