This is a very exciting project and we're proud to be a part of it!!! Carriage House Customs is a great partner. We'll contribute to this thread as well detailing some of the engineering involved.

This car will feature the following products:

Inverted 16 Point Adjustable Coil Overs

Race 1 Sway Bar Package with optional HD Endlink System

Spherical Control Arm Bearings

We're loading these into the control arms now! I'll post up the pictures ASAP.

Solid Sub Frame Bushings

Engine Mounts

We have other products such as differential bushings, Strut Tower Brace and more!

Kind regards,

I am surprised to learn that the Manual Trans has cooler and I am even more surprised to find that is uses power steering fluid as the cooling media...

Does that mean it will handle long runs at high RPM without problems?

Well we got our CCW wheels and tires (RA1) mounted and they clear the brakes with no problem! 18"X9.5" Max. size for American Iron. I think with some carefull planning we could get 17's to fit and clear the brakes. We have not decided if we will upgrade to 6 piston calipers yet or not. We did get the cage done this last weekend and weighed the shell with cage, we came in at 978#. That's 22# under our goal. In case anyone is interested the Motor, trans, and cradle with all hardware except radiator came in at 737#Were still within our goal of 3250# with driver, but its going to be tight.

Weight of our new tires are 52#, unshaved. The original (TRUCK) tires with rims came in at 70# rear and 64# front. The CCW wheels came in at 22#.

There is no way we could get this car ready so quickly with out the help of Pfadt Racing. The engineering expertise has been incredibly valuable and we look forward to testing these parts to the extreme.

gunslinger, The trans has its own pump off the input shaft and the cooler lines run to the radiator. And the power steering cooler runs threw the ac condensor. I do know that if the pump goes out you have to buy the hole bellhousing at $489.00

We (carriagehousecustoms and Phadt racing) are having a new all aluminum radiator (that will handle more HP) being made.

I think the headers were around $500 - I don't recall for sure. I think they could have done a better job on the collectors myself..

YIKES, I bet DT won't be happy with that comment..
