This weekend we have one of our main club events for the year, our Spring Fling (car show and drag race event). It was overlooked to post the info in this thread, unfortunately, but here is the info. Hope you can make it!

We would like to invite you all to a day of racing, a cool car show, and to just hang out with fellow Camaro owners. For you new folks if you've never drag raced before there will be plenty of folks there willing to teach you the ins, and outs of racing.

The Drag race is a 5th Gen Camaro race only.
The Car show is open to all Gen Camaros.

Come through gates, and follow around to your right. We will be in the first parking lot.

Car show: Show Cars must be in line at 1:00. If you are showing only line up to the right of Black Beauty and form a line down the tree line.
Come to our table to get your entry number, and fill out and place on the drivers side dash as soon as possible so people judging will know who to vote for.
Judging will start at one, and end at 4:30
Car Show Awards given out at 5:00
Spectators will be doing the judging.

Participants will pick Peoples Choice award.
Kevin Cradduck (NitroPlate) will pick Best Drag Car
Jeff Lee (HammerHead Enterprises) will pick Best Engineered Camaro

Those cars dragracing start a line across from Black Beauty, and line up facing the show cars. lets try, and keep them uniformed starting out for those who want to take pics.
Make sure if you are dragracing to fill out your tech sheet, and go to the Tech Shack as soon as you can. Very important, must have this done to race.

Drag Racing Awards will be given at the end of the FINAL ROUND

Rules for the Lowest Reaction Time Award.
Contest starts at the beginning of the first round and ends at the end of the final round.

After the first round all racers come to our table. There will be a score sheet there. The name of the racer with the low reaction time will be entered there, and the contest begins. at the end of all other rounds if you have a lower reaction time come back to the table so we can make the change, and everyone will know who is in the lead.

Derby City Camaro Club may be joining this event with us.

Music City! It's been a while, but I will be coming through this weekend to play a little music in Nashville! Just got back a few months ago from a 15 month tour overseas and live in Missouri.. I will be driving the ABM into town Thursday night, and leaving Saturday afternoon. Going to be meeting with some folks and playing some music off and on but I'm always down for a little cruise action I'll be performing at The Judges Vinegarroon on Church St Friday night (April 25th) from 7pm-10pm if y'all want to grab some awesome BBQ and or a beverage or two!

On May 8 they will be featuring the Music City Camaro Club, and will have all of us park together. Tammy, and I went out there a couple of times last year, and have been the only new Camaro there. Hey Music City...

I'm finally moving back after being in California for a few years.

I need recommendations for detailers. I keep her garaged, but she needs her weekly washes. I don't mind the ones that run her through a machine first, but it has to be brushless.

Even any recommendations for mobile detailers would be great.
