kick panel/plates, question: - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I like this one

but I want it to say "RS" instead; I have found some RS ones; but they are not billet, and its carbon fiber; I want this exact one but "RS" they do have this billet style that says "SS" though :(

RS stuff is hard to get/find sometimes, does anybody know where I can get this same one that says "RS"?

Please share details. You might also email them to see if they can cut it with the RS instead. Sometimes they make them in house and can do that.

Do you mind sharing where those are that are pictured?

I did a search for it; there's a few sites that carry a variety of kick plate styles and colors. You can get them with brushed metal along with carbon fiber lettering, red, blue, yellow, etc

But I like the one I showed here in the thread, just wanting RS

I haven't found anybody who does these in house that I know of or it doesn't seem like it anyway; this particular one is on eBay none of the vendors that C5 supports has this particular one, but they have other ones though.

Even if you found one in blank, you could probably get someone with a waterjet machine to cut the RS into it for you... just another thought.

Those would look sick though with the RS!

yeah I found a blank one that is black; I don't know anyone here who has a waterjet machine but that's a good idea. Dunno why the manufacturer just can't do it they already do SS, and Bowtie

I can already get that elsewhere; but I like the one I linked to better; its a cutout not an engraving and these guys here only do it on brushed steel.

I'll just get the blank black one :( its better than the bowtie

errr my bad, yes I've seen those; those aren't billet though and those are carbon fiber only; tellin' ya the black one with the bowtie is the best; they don't have black in RS; they only have it in bowtie and SS; you can get the brushed metal "Camaro" logo

RS is hard to get by itself; some products will have SS/RS and some will even have 2LTSS/RS logos; but RS again by itself is tough to get. I like my V6/RS I shouldn't have to get an SS to get more widely available stuff LOL...
