1 SS/A6 highest has been 26.8 on a 150 mile trip @ 72 mph. Usually runs around 22 to 23.5 in country road and small town driving. City driving is around 19 to 20. If you push the car mpg drops in a hurry.

I'm getting like, 16-18 MPG and the average speed is 29? The miles on the car are nothing but highway. I guess it's the stop lights and when I get off the highway that causes such a low average speed? I'm not getting much better mileage than the 4th gen. Cruise is used whenever possible.

I reset the trip meters each time I fill up and calculate the mileage myself. I don't consider my driving too hard either....definitely lay into it here and there but normal most of the time. The DIC says my average MPG is 13.6. |

13.6 mpg is not right. Unless your doing burnouts at every light.
2SS/RS Auto is at 19.9 mpg, and I get on it pretty good.

I've averaged about 16mpg on every tank of gas except the one I'm on now (I'll need to fill it up tomorrow). I'm getting 12.5 on this one for some reason.
Average speed, I think, is about 25mph.

17 average right now overall and I'm beating the piss out of it. My drives are usually less than 30 minutes back and forth to work on back roads. And you know what back roads mean!

LS3 here also I only average 14 mpg. I do a lot of driving around town not really much on the highways but still that seems low to me what do u guys thing? I keep it under 4000 RPMs still because I only have 777 miles on it. I do my shifting around 3000. could that be why?
