Yes, he said he had a surplus of these right now. This is for the Gray, not the Chrome. He wanted $100 more for the pair of chrome. Since i will only uses these a half a dozen times a year, saw no need for the extra money.

I am actually looking for black corvette wheels for my 1LE. Are you sure the Grand Sport wheels you bought are Gray? I only see chrome and "2012 GM Grand Sport Wheel-Gloss Black" on their site.

I missed that indeedaz. Thanks! Mine will only be for drag racing as well, but I will be mounting them at home and driving to the track. I got black rims on my car so I will probably spend the extra just so the color matches. Gotta get me some wheels and DRs so I don't wear out my daily driver expensive tires. Let me know if you attempt to mount one to make sure it clears everything. What tires are you thinking about going with?

I have to drive to the track too which is 75miles each way. I went with the Mickey Thompson 3786r. I got them yesterday from Jegs for $631 shipped. They matched Amazon price so I didn't pay tax. I pay tax on Amazon purchases.

All said and done I'm $50 over budget. My budget was $1k

Would the 40mm offset work on a square setup for the SS/1LE? I'm looking into putting 19" wheels for either track days (road course) and/or winter wheels.
