yeah i know i was wondering why the 2 people that hit it before me didnt move it either. no pic yet i am forgot my camera the last couple nights but i am going to take it tonight if i remember. stopped by the body shop today after work to see if they had started taking it apart yet but they hadnt. i appreciate all your kind words everyone. and the real kicker was that i just had it in friday for the paint and fab protection and the first oil change and they had me scheduled at my dealer for the new car clinic on tuesday night where they bring all the new car buyers in and give them dinner and raffles and a tour. and sunday night this happens but i think i will be able to push my attendance back to september if i have my car back by then and go with trent and waldo since he hasnt gone yet.

got a message when i woke up this evening. the preliminary estimate is 4000.00 dollars in damages to my baby

well i took advantage of my visitation rights and stopped to see my baby this morning it sucked seeing her all apart. the front bumper cover was off and the guys showed me everything they found so far. gotta list it all later. i know shes in good hands at basil. i feel bad though i finally snapped on someone the other day when the roadside assistance lady told me i would have to pay to have it taken to basil cause there were to many dealers between my house and basil and i was like WTF the other night you people told me i am covered to any shop for the repair since i paid for the tow the first night. and after several minutes she finally said she was going to allow me to take the car to basil.

I get a sick feeling just thinking about what happened - I would be half out of my mind too. What a bite in the a@! Basil will fix her up right though.

I can't believe two other people hit it and not only didn't bother to move it, but didn't bother to go back in and tell anyone either !!! Wow !

Good luck with your employer. Many years ago a co-worker and myself had our cars stolen from the employee lot ( we drive package delivery trucks all day ) and we both tried to hold the company at least partially responsible, not only did they refuse, but they put up signs after that saying that they were not responsible for damage, loss, theft, etc. for any vehicle in their lot. Nice company.

well i decided today i am filing the claim on my insurance getting sick of waiting to hear anything and i want my car back as soon as parts are available to be put on. so i called and put in the claim and got the ball rolling so i can get my car back as soon as possible.

Your insurance will put the heat on your HR dept. You need to take pictures of that asphalt thing NOW if it's not too late.

Just checking in...

475 miles. Driving in the fast lane, a car in the slow lane kicked up what appeared to be a front plate bracket with the plate still attached. Flew into the front bumper of my car. When I got out to inspect the damage, this is what I found:

Getting fixed next week and a new tire. Total bill about $1300.

once you get her fixed, can you take that exact same picture again? haha it looks awesome, minus the little ding in the bottom, it'll buff right out.

If you are talking about my damage, no way its buffing out. The actual rubber is gouged on the bumper. Its deep. i am sure its an easy fix just makes me sad. <500 miles and already has paint work! :(

If it was not for the tire I would not have claimed it and let it go. Sometime down the road when I get a bunch of stone chips I would have got the facia painted but the tire worried me. Figured if I am makign the claim, might as well get it all done. Only cost me $100. The tire for the front was $360 alone! Back is like $415! Yikes!
