You seem really jealous that I made just as much as your overpriced cammed Jannetty package. I'll go dyno at any dyno you want to just piss you off.

Numbers on a piece of paper are just that, go run your car than talk shit about how fast it is

No surprising at all, I only have Roto-Fab cai and Bo White TB and other then that completely stock and mine made 409rwhp/406rwtq and before i put it on the dyno i asked the same question what do y'all think they told me it will bw around 370-380rwhp and after the dyno everybody was surprised and i think is the gears that are making this much of a difference

With stainless power headers, off road mid X pipe and a CAI mine made 460 rwhp and 458 trq and that's without a tune. I broke mine in like I intended on driving it, HARD! Dyno was on a dynamometer.

I started this post to talk about dyno numbers. I haven't tracked it because the closest track is 2 hours away and costs $100 to maybe get 2 passes in. Id rather run out at the street where it's free and can get as many passes as I want. I may not know my exact time but I know what cars I can and can't beat and that's what matters to me.

I think it would be worth $100 and a 2 hour drive to see what your car can do.. 2 hours is nothing in our cars. Then with a time slip you can back up your claims of a factory freak, plus going to the strip is fun!

That's awfully subjective at best. Besides, unless he not only has a factory freak but also has some intense skills at drag racing and puts down times that folks can't really say too much about, it'll be met with "I told you so" and "Well, if this/that..."

I've raced my cars on drag strips just to see what all the hype was about - I have never found the thrill that everyone insists you have. I don't intend on wasting my time doing so with my Camaro; I couldn't fault anyone else for feeling the same.

WOW you are correct!!!!! I never said I did, went to a dyno day and they offered to dyno it for a reasonable price and I said sure why not. Thanks for pointing it out tho. FYI, Not everyone races their car.

A lot of good comversation in here and I've learned a few things. But, I really belive something may be off with this dyno. The ZL1 you listed at 460hp with mods makes no sense unless it's a typo or the dyno is out to lunch. Lots of data out there on the ZL and they are almost all around the 500rwhp mark give or take a few depending on auto or standard. To mod it and lose that much power says something is way off and makes me question all the data. Not taking anything away from your car OP but that stat just jumps off the page to me.

Im a big believer in showing real world results for my mods.. Way to many mods being overrated or underated because people do some testing on a dyno. Bolt up these cai or shorty headers ..or ported throttlebodies to cars that will show real world results.....racing down a track. I wonder what the next flavour of the month will be. Mind you I am going for a dyno tune in a month or so.....ill see how it does. And then ill follow it up with a trip down the track. Then I will have to defend my dyno numbers and timeslips.
