Yesterday, driving along the "downtown" part of Oshawa (Bond Street, one way road, high rises both sides) and the Police were doing their crackdown on distracted driving/speeding. I made it thru no problem, even without my front license plate.

So this morning, approaching the same spot, I was driving beside a red Mustang, black stripes, with the LED DRL's. Basically identical rival cars. I was lined right up with him, and both the cops walked out on the road and stopped us. Officer walked up to my window, told me I needed to have both hands on the wheel, and told me my car is better. Touched his hand on the roof twice, and said theres more of us ahead!

By the face the mustang owner had afterwards, I think he got the same treatment. Nice way to wake up in the morning. Some people hate on LEO's, but just remember: they are people too, and some of them like cars as much or more than us.

Wow! You are REQUIRED to have two hands on the wheel? We are lucky if drivers down here in Louisiana have ONE hand on the wheel! Great story BTW.

Hope you have an automatic... you would have trouble shifting with both hands on the wheel.

I have a Manual. I think they just wanted to stop us and say hi lol. And he did the whole double tap on the roof like "good talk".

That is strict OP. I guess you could get pulled over if you drank something in your car, only one hand on the wheel. But my car has cup holders for me to have drinks in my car, Ching Gow...

Thats actually very interesting story....but as all should know i think EVERYBODY LOVES cars haha. even people who do not know anything about them.

I have a friend who knows nothing about cars but loves what he sees in the Fast movies and Transformers, and he loves my camaro.

I also know cops where i live who actually ask me questions about the parts on my car and where i been getting them cause they want to get them as well haha.
