Once spring comes and I'm not under 6 feet of snow and the rain has washed the salt away I'll make a video of the sound of it but it'll be too late by then anyways I'm guessing. I'll do it anyways

I have the K&N system on my 2010 2SS/RS L99, which by the way uses the same conical 6 in. filter that the 2015 Z28 uses in pink VS white & I LOVE it!

Oh & YES you can hear it in the car BIG TIME when you step on the loud pedal!

I think it is unfortunate that the K&N system receives so many negative comments on the forum. You guys don't realize what your missing, & yes size does matter when you are comparing filters! Why do you think that GM is using the SAME filter in the new Z28!

I had an airaid in my 2012 Tundra 5.7L and you could hear a huge difference at WOT. I am wondering if I went with an airaid for my 2014 1LE that I would hear the same volume at WOT. Could there be any differences in sound on an automatic vs manual? Would be great if someone could post a video of an airaid at WOT. TIA!

My K&N Blackhawk can be heard when I push down on the gas and it made my Flowmaster exhaust a little deeper also. It was funny, stock when I revved the motor it hardly moved, I noticed after I installed the K&N, the motor rocks over on the mounts now.

Don't know how much it added and really don't care, I'm happy with it and in the end that's all that counts.

Only at WOT, it's a noticeable difference. I feel like it makes the exhaust note less mean sounding than the stock airbox during part throttle driving, as though the NPP exhaust note loses some of it's tone. I have a K&N intake.

Overall, I feel like aftermarket air intakes are only good at WOT, and that they screw up the way the cars drives at any other throttle input compared to the stock airbox. This is the same experience I've had on all my N/A cars that I've installed an intake on, they're a waste of money and inferior to the stock airbox other than at WOT. The K&N intake is loud at WOT, and it feels like my car pulls a little bit harder at WOT, but I prefer the stock airbox for street driving, the drivability is superior with it and part throttle sounds better.
