Swirl and scratch removal and coating.
Yesterday I set out to remove some swirls and scratches from the paint. Took about 5 hours to get the car to the point I was happy with. I used the Adams correcting polish and finishing polish with the Orange and white foam and microfiber pad kit and it was a breeze. After the polishing was complete I used the blackfire paint coating to seal it all up and man does it shine now.

Good work! Are you going to wax it too, or just leave it sealed?

The coating is like the cquartz or gtechniq coatings so i don't think I need to wax it.

Waxing the coating will remove the cleaning abilities of the coating.

Thanks for the heads up iomcamaro I won't be putting anything on it now. And I have no idea what kind of spots. i guess the Rain and salt air mixed with afternoon sunny showers that we get here just burned spots into it all of the horizontal surfaces that water would sit on.

From the looks of it, this is exactly what I need to do. I have tiny scratch's in the clear coat from coin operated car wash brushes, and it look absolutely horrible in direct sunlight. Can you link the products you used?

I used the blackfire paint prep spray recommended for the blackfire crystal coat.
