ZL1 Axleback Exhaust on a V6?

Hey guys,
wondering if an axleback of a ZL1 would work with a V6?

Getting a good deal on one.

Or should i get a Muffler Delete?

I would NOT do a muffler delte, this will make it sound like CRAP.

However you can do a muffler delete if you replace the H pipe with a Magnaflow resontaed X pipe ( 11386). Many have done this and it sounds good.

The X pipe is basically a muffler, but open.

I got the x-pipe and muffler delete and it sounds amazing but too loud and light drone.
I am going to put in the ZL1 exhaust now and lets see how it goes.

With the muffler delete is there any disadvantage to the engine?

With the NPP, how does it hook up electronically? Or does it stay open if it's not hooked up?

ZL1 mufflers on v6

I'm trying to buy the ZL1 muffler for my v6 and wanted to know if anyone has any videos on how it sounds from the outside of the car. I also wanted to know if it's worth getting or if it sounds good?

you can't just run an axle back because the zl1 vs v6 pipe size is different, however you can take the entire cat back exhaust and bolt that up and do it that way. The only way you could do just from the axle back would be to get an adapter or some sort. i think the v6 has 2.25" pipe and the zl1 has 2.5"
