I have a 2014 camaro 1lt..

At first i never liked the rear end of the 2014/2015 because of the tail lights, then it gew on me and i thought they actually look cooler. In fact they trying to make all the chevy's have the same type of taillights.

Then i saw the 2016 and thought some of the fronts looked odd but i thought the hoods look cool.

That being said, i would only get 22000 if i trade in my car now, and i am not willing to pay an extra 10k for a new one haha

I had a 2010 1LT traded that in for a 2014 2LT and it rattles like crazy. So I am not happy with it. That is why I want a 2016 SS

If you think the 6th gen Camaro looks like a Mustang you need to visit your optometrist. End of story.

This is my second Camaro, first a 2010 1LTRS in RJT traded with 9500 miles on it and my current 2011 2SSRS in RJT with 8700 miles on it.
This one has just been cammed by Hoosier Street Cars and putting out 450rwhp (540hp crank) and 423rwtq. I'm happy as hell with it and being that I'm not really feeling the 2016 looks at all, I'll keep what I have and just be freaking happy with what I have. A man has to know his own limitations and I'm not chasing GM or Chevy with the Camaro in how they spoon feed you on models and upgrades. I'll keep this car and work on getting my MyLink w/nav and rear camera installed and call it a lovely day!

My car reminds me too much of the 1969 I fell in love with, with it's retro styling. It's everything I want and haven seen the new Sux Gen in person, I didn't have the burning desire to upgrade or even have thoughts of wanting something new-er.

I am going to seriously check out the Gen6 mostly because of its projected track credentials. To me the '12-'13 Gen5 is the muscle car perfected and a true classic.

I really have to see them in person before I judge it's looks. I was not a fan of the 15 mustang until I started seeing them around and I guess the look just grows on you. I have a feeling the gen6 will be the same

I prefer cars that don't have alot busy things about them.
I don't need wifi, navigation, a bunch of buttons, cooled seats or heated steering wheels, auto blip, onstar. Hell I don' t even use much of anything with my current ZL1. Never use Nav, radio, cruise control. I will have to wait and see if they have a stripped track version, but not impressed yet. 6th gen is just too busy in and out. As far as the looks comparisons just wait and see the nice mustang comments when it comes out. Bet there is many.

So the 6th gen is ticking in around basically at 40k for a 1SS...are people still on board with that? Even tho I had no intention on purchasing a sixth gen I'm fairly surprised at the 10% increase in price.

I will buy a used one in a couple years. Base model starts at $27k. I can see a loaded SS at close to 50k

Even sniffing at the Corvette price without an LSA seems like they are asking a lot

I'm getting so sick of seeing that claim. The new Camaro LOOKS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the new Mustang. Personally I think Ford botched the new Stang, the back is hideous and the front looks too much like a taurus.

Am I missing something here or are people just looking for a reason to dislike the new Camaro?

Yes Sir. I have the hardest time understanding why people want nav. I much prefer to know where I am at than listen to some idiot computer voice keep telling me to turn left at a red light, or try to exit the freeway when there are 5 lanes of stopped traffic and no way over. Better to know where you are and have a sense of direction. If Ive never been there a quick glance at the map before I leave is all I need. I used my phones nav once as an expeirment in downtown SF durning rush hour in my big ass company vehicle. After it asking me to do things that were only possible on foot, or perhaps a bike, I felt like throwing my phone in the ocean, and went back to sense of direction. That stupid thing cost me an hour to get out of the tangled mess of downtown, and set me up for even worse traffic due to the lost time. Pretty amusing since I did not need it in the first place. Even crazier that some people rely on it.

Well after seeing pricing I can easily say f--k the 6th gen. 37k starting price for an SS?!?!? Meanwhile a 2015 Mustang GT premium with performance package is under 40k... GM must be trying to kill the Camaro again. This is shameful honestly. The Mustang is very competitively priced and a great performer. GM has screwed us with this pricing. This is before even taking into consideration dealer mark up and dealer fees... Theres going to be 1SS trim 6th gens sitting on dealer lots with price tags in excess of 40k with loaded 2SS models approaching base C7 pricing. GM has to have absolutely lost its freakin mind. I highly doubt this Camaro will be the top dog in terms of sales. The Mustang is on top as of right now and it will likely be staying there.
