Think about it this way......

Laugh if you will. Just remember,
1/ How much did it cost him to place the ad?
2/ As P. T. Barnum said, there's one born every minute. And he only need to find one.

It doesn't cost anything to put that as up. Don't even need an account

I paid $18k for my 13 1LS with 7500 miles nearly one year ago. This person must have rolled in a ton of negative equity.

Oh, it was a 2013 with 22000mi on it, my 2011 has almost 27000mi on it. An LS and auto. He wants 27000? Ummm, no. He is from Cisero(Chicago suburb I take it), so things are a little more expensive there.

A few years ago, I went to a pawn shop, looking for deals on firearms. I know my gun values, and was surprised to see old, worn out, beat up pieces of junk selling for more than brand- spankin'- new prices. I looked around at a few more pawn shops, and found the same thing.

It seems that people go to places like that THINKING that the best deals are found there. They have not done their homework, and simply assume that pawn shops are the inexpensive way to purchase firearms.

It may be that there are those out there who are too lazy or too dim to do their homework, and may simply assume that Craigslist is going to be the best place to find the lowest price on a car. Maybe the seller is hoping that one person will pay that ludicrous price.

A few years ago, a good friend of mine in Hawaii found a 'deal to good to be true' on a Corvette on Craig's list. The seller was supposedly in Las Vegas; my friend contacted him & asked for more information; the seller answered all his questions and even sent more pictures. I was living in Las Vegas at the time, so before contacting the seller again, he called and asked if I would be willing to go check it out for him, which I was.

The next day, my friend calls me back to let me know he wouldn't be needing my help. Apparently, when he contacted the seller and asked if he could have someone check it out, the seller responded with some BS story about the Corvette currently being in storage and he wouldn't take it out until he was sure someone was serious about purchasing it by sending him a large deposit. When my friend asked to at least see copies of the title and any other paperwork on the vehicle, the seller informed him it was all in storage with the vehicle.

Naturally, my friend figured it was some type of scam & didn't pursue the sale any further.
